Events in a Circular Economy
Iberostar works towards a circular economy, focusing on the retention of value in materials to prevent their release into the environment. This ensures a responsible, yet elevated experience during incentive trips, along with a positive impact to the local community.
All hotels and resorts are free of single-use plastic, including in rooms, conference centers and meeting spaces, replacing them with high-quality reusable and/or compostable items.
We use efficient waste management, reducing disposable options and maintaining an on-site composting program, coupled with our established paperless philosophy. The goal is to reduce waste, while creating remarkable events.
Responsibly-Sourced
Seafood
Delight in the flavors of high standard cuisine and responsibly-sourced seafood. We focus on providing a culinary experience unlike any other, without sacrificing the transparency of our coveted and highly-reputable supply chains.
Menus that include responsible seafood, fresh ingredients and a variety of vegetarian options allow clients to relish in the flavors and atmosphere.
Fourteen of Iberostar’s restaurants have been certified by the Marine Stewardship Council Chain of Custody and we have outlined a strategy towards 100% responsible sourcing of seafood by 2025.
